Finally finishing up posts from my parent's trip here a month ago. On Monday, July 6 (my last day off of work) we went to the Yankee game. I mostly wanted to see Yankee Stadium and go to a game while I live here. It is in the Bronx, but it is actually a short subway ride - just a few stops on the uptown 4 train :)
We arrived quite early - as you can tell, no one is there yet.
They have what is called Monument Park - all of the old players have their numbers retired there.
This is a 9/11 memorial - the year the Diamondbacks won the World Series.

After the game, we stopped at Henri Bendel to see Jenn who was hosting a trunk show there. This is her Jennifer Paige Designs table.

That was a nice day and great weather for a game. Jenn, your headbands are beautiful and it was fun to see you as a designer.
