Every year the NY Philharmonic does a series of free concerts in the park. I went with a group of people from church. It was a bring your own food and we all brought blankets to sit on. It was a nice night for most of the night, but it started pouring just before the encore. So...no encore, and we all packed it up and headed out of the park. I was soaked by the time I got back to my apartment because I forgot my umbrella.

The Great Lawn of Central Park - there were so many people. The buildings you see in the background is Midtown and the Upper West Side.
This was mid-July, so I am late on posting...AGAIN!
