Rob and Kathryn Visit NYC

Rob and Kathryn were my October visitors. They were here for 4 nights total - in a hotel in midtown the first two nights and on the UES with me the second two nights. On Thursday night they had dinner in Little Italy before they came to my apartment and they stopped at Bella Ferrara to pick up some cannoli's. Mmmm....
On Friday I took the day off work and we were on the go the entire day. We started out with breakfast at H&H (surprise, surprise) and then we headed to South Street Seaport to the TKTS booth (another surprise, surprise).
It was a VERY cold day for October - we were all freezing. I think they were colder than I was (because I had my winter clothes on) but they are from Ohio so they are used to the cold.
Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange
Rob found Robert Wagner Park.
This is also in Robert Wagner Park.
We made a stop in the West Village at Magnolia Bakery - Rob loved these cupcakes.
Kathryn and I thought they were pretty good too. Red velvet are the best from Magnolia.
After Magnolia we took the subway to Columbus Circle and walked along 5th Avenue and through Central Park back to my apartment. The Trump Tower on 5th Avenue.

Friday night we saw Rock of Ages. It was my second time - I like it. Don't stop believin'...
They are rockstars!
Friday night we ended the night with ice cream at Serendipity.
It was a good trip and you guys are welcome to come back anytime!
