Today was my last day at
and I start at
on Tuesday. After my promotion to Senior Manager last summer, I had to seriously start weighing the pros and cons of being a partner in public accounting. There are definitely a lot of "pros" but for what I want and where I foresee my career down the road, the pros did not outweigh the cons for me. I started interviewing in April, and accepted a position at Pfizer as the Manager of Financial Reporting. I will be working on the SEC filings, the most significant of those being the quarterly 10-Q's and the annual 10-K. I am excited about my new job, but it was definitely weird turning in my laptop and saying goodbye to people at KPMG this week. Here is to a new chapter in my life...

Congratulations and I know it was a little difficult saying good-bye but God is good and your new job will be just what you have wanted.
